Our regular CFE Meetings include a raffle of items related to our hobby. We've had everything from patches and ball caps to a surplus fire hydrant in the raffle. If you have items you can donate to the raffle, just bring them).
 
August 1st - 4th (Wed - Sat) – SPAAMFAA 2018 Summer Convention (Cherry Hill, NJ)

August 5th (Sunday) – CFE Board and General Meeting (Fontana, CA)
Beginning at 9:30 A.M. San Bernardino County FD Museum, 16980 Arrow Blvd. Fontana, CA  92355
The museum is located at the old Fontana Fire District Station (Next to Sand Bernardino County Station 71) in Fontana. Directions: From I-10 east or west, take the Sierra Avenue exit and go north about 2.5 miles to Arrow Blvd.  Turn right at Arrow Blvd. to the museum. From I-210 east or west, take the Sierra Avenue exit and go south about 2.5 miles to Arrow Blvd.  Turn left at Arrow Blvd. to the museum.
Program:    At the museum you can see the displays and Fontana’s 1928 Seagrave and the new work that has been done on the Redlands 1920 Seagrave (new hard rubber tires).  For those interested, afterwards we can drive to a nearby location (at a closed fire station) and see the apparatus in staging for restoration – 1914 ALF from Upland FD, 1926 Seagrave ex-Calimesa VFD, ex-San Bernardino City FD, and 1947 Seagrave ex-San Bernardino City FD.  There are a couple of interesting reserve rigs kept there as well. Depending on the timing, we can all go to a local food establishment for lunch. All members and guests are welcome to attend.  As a reminder, please bring items for the raffle.


September – CFE Board and General Meeting (Exact date and location to be determined)


September 22nd (Saturday) – 19th Annual Cruisin’ for a Cure Car Show (Costa Mesa, CA)

Public show hours are 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Rigs need to arrive by 7:00 A.M. Orange County Fairgrounds. The world’s largest one-day charity car show for finding a cure for prostate cancer. Over 3,500 vehicles on display and over 200 vendors and exhibitors, featuring hot rods, classics, trucks, etc. There will be spaces for fire apparatus and there will also be a flag raising ceremony with CFE fire apparatus at the start of the event. Cruising all day. All proceeds to benefit KSK Cancer Center of Irvine. CFE will also present the Brian Dierkens Memorial Award at this event. November 3rd (Saturday) – American Heroes Air Show (Lake View Terrace, CA)
9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Hansen Dam Sports Complex, 1170 Foothill Blvd., Pacoima, CA 91331. Helicopter displays and demonstrations by local, county and state law enforcement and fire departments, as well as federal agencies such as U.S. Border Patrol and the U.S. military.
